That is the North Shore but I was there on business only for a week. The second picture is from the top of Mount-Seymour which is one of three most popular sites for freeriding. Imagine, they are that close to the city of Vancouver with the best trails in the world. 
If it feels good and makes you happy, just do it. Life is short enough as it is not to be wasted!!!!!!!!

OMG those mountain are awesome, i'd build alot of trail there :lol:Oh i forgot! Those trail already exist 
So i'd just ride them!
