Tunnel boat drag racing!!!
Here some amazig pictures from several years back of what can go wrong when trying to reach 140 mph, yes Miles Per Hour. 
This guy was luckier than anyone can possibly imagine having been at way over 100mph myself years ago. 
2009 Full tilt and better than ever, gonna be nuts in a good way. He, he.

At those speeds, the water is like concrete. Check this dude out. He's also missing a shoe.

he only reason he' alive was the safety gear, helmet straps to the life jacket broke on impact but did the work plus he lost not only the shoe but the sock as well.
He was a while in the Hospital very stif but no brocken bones from what I read.

No, they are not sanctioned races by the APBA, weekend amateur races and they still reach 140+ mph.
