Well, at least they turn out nice.
I'm NOT trying to start a fight! But I really don't like your "style" of photos. That's my opinion. Again, I'm not trying to start a fight!
Just saying that whatever he is doing, it works IMO.....

I like the pictures from both of them, the shot's themselves are ery good just that Mike did some little Goth dark side effect.
The dark look is not my style but the shot of the riders are very good.
Danicks pix are great and the naturel colors are very much apparent and that more what I personally preffer myself.
It's all good constructive critism so don't think anyone should take it the wrong way, after all that is the best way to improve. Learning and improving is a life long process. ![]()

ohh well
i've got a preference for a certain kind of pictures, I Try to accomodate my clients as much as possible.
I'm just saying that, spending that much money on equipement and taking pictures so flat a compact camera would easy do just doesn't make sense to me, it just doesn't show any emotions
I like dannick's pictures, I just don't like pictures with no emotion, that are just pictures, I try as much as possible to create an atmosphere in which the viewer can feel how the scenery was.
take care guys

First, spending that much money on a camera (and extras) is so you can take better quality pictures, not to create a fake "emotion". Is that why you Photoshop every one of your pics? Wow. I'm disappointed. ![]()
Pictures are a means of remembering a moment. Not a means of creating a moment. If you don't understand the real emotion from these pics, I'm sorry, but that's purely because you don't ride.
I'm sorry if this offends you, I'm not trying to be mean, but to me, it would appear that you can take pictures of bikers, but you don't understand what it means to be a biker.
I think that's why Danick's photos are, in my opinion, better.
As far as your tastes go, that's fine, but you have to realize that most people want a souvenir of their memory, not somebody else's idea of want happened. What you might think is nice, might not be to others, and vise versa.
These are my opinions, and not those of this website.
Again, I'm sorry if this offends you, but I believe it had to be said.

Bon, back to topic SVP

It's a free country with freedom of speach and it's simply constructive comments and as stated a personel opinion done in a polite manner, so I see no problem here. As I mentioned before in this thread and other threads I really like the shots Mike takes and he's got a good eye form it, I just am not the type who likes the dark abstract surroundings that are done to the pictures. ![]()

well, one has to get recognized by something.
but, as said before, I am not "chosen" to be a bike photographer since I don't ride and I don't know how to take pictures of it properly
