Here is my bike with my new wheelset. I re-used my specialized hubs since they seemed to be doing an allright job, However i did change the bearings.

New wheels are nice, much lighter weight and ride a lot stiffer.Coming soon is a new saddle, you cannot see in the picture but the other side is completely torn, its not comfy anyways.The gold colored jagwire housing is also new and so are the DX pedals, i ride clipped in now.

The next project is to get new brakes but it is not a rush.I will also be getting new grips.

Hope you enjoy, i took just under an hour to clean it, damn white bikes.

Always use the "direct code" when you copy paste the link code from Imageshack.
In your case, your image is too big. I find that 800x600 is a good resolution for posting on forums. I would resize the image and replace it on Imageshack and then use the "direct code" to post it on the forum.

Donkey. Just added 08 Code for the front last week. Also rebuilding my 04 Hucker. I Have Hookworms on it and was using it to ride around and keep in shape.

You know, they are less sadistic way to keep shape than riding a downhill bike around with ultra-high rolling resistance skinny tires.

so i've been waiting to post some new pics up of my bike until i got everything up to par running how i wanted it to. and here goes., lots of money put in this season, but all of it necessary. now shes ready to roll, and she lost somewhere in the neighborhood of 3lbs
so here goes

- new rear hub (dmr revolver)
- new cranks (shimano saint 165mm)
- chainguide (e13 extra wide)
- rims ( ex729 in back, ex325 in front)
- rear brake ( avid code5)
- front disk (avid roundagon)
- seat ( other one exploded while riding, long story )
- new front tire ( minion 2.7 super tacky)
- new pivot axles (no more play)

that pretty much wraps it up. that's what happens after almost 2 seasons of not really putting much money into your bike. but now she's a beast again. next year she'll probably loose even more weight for some racing but we shall see. either way, i still go by the if it aint broke don't fix it moto, so pretty well anything that was replaced was necessary for one reason or another.

haha ye, especially when you only notice how bent they are when you get home . lol my buddy's like " hey man you're rotors so warped you should get a new one" i was like bah it doesnt matter (thinking it was the nice warp its had for like a year). then i looked at it and actually laughed my ass off. anyways, gotta love the bb7.

lol hand tighten nope. i always use a ratchet. but i warped that rotor about 3 years back, cuz i had just ridden a full run brakeing a lot and went through a puddle deeper than my rotors and it just like caved. but then i bent it back and have been using it since. but the 2nd to last time i was at bromont i flipped and nailed it on a rock last run of the day, and didn't really notice how bent it was cuz of my floating brake and the fact it always rubs a bit.
