Yep, it's boating season and so far theirs 2 of us here who has one. I just found time today (fathers day gift) to take mine out of storage to start it, clean up and inflate the tubes on the Zodiac. Just need to load up the safety gear and go ride the boat sometime by next weekend. ![]()

Do you need a boater's license in Quebec? Ya do in Ontario. So lame.
I get out fishing a couple times a year in either a canoe or the speed boat of my dad's. That's 'bout it.

Actually it's a federal law now and mandatory for everyone as of Sept. 15th, 2008. The exam costs $55 and you get a card for life.

Finally a great day with sun and no rain all day so off I went boating. Launched at the Valleyfield Marina after lunch and went out to Lancaster Ont. where as usual the Marina robbed me to re-fuel @ $1.529/L. LOLLLL
Some didn't like part of the ride when I pushed the throtle and trimmed out to the max the motor. Was tricky keeping the boat straight when going airborn every 3-4th wave but loads of fun.
Maybe go out to Oka beach tomorrow, if the weather holds up that is.
